Social Skills: a reflection on the effects of social isolation in the COVID-19 pandemic

Abstract: To improve the knowledge about aspects of life and daily activities of the participants and their own perceptions and assessments of their well-being. The present work aims to investigate the consequences of the COVID-19 World Pandemic on people's lives, the effects of social isolation and the preventive measures that were taken to alleviate the problems that were caused as a result of social isolation. As well as presenting ways of thinking about how to deal with the phenomenon within the World Contest. The research was developed as a Quantitative data base – Analysis of items related to the impact of social isolation in the lives of Brazilians. It was through a survey carried out with the application of questionnaires, answered electronically, by the Google Docs.® system, with closed questions from multiple choice or with answer options in Likert scale format. The results showed that social isolation significantly impacted the lives of individuals in order to adapt to home office work and family skills in the same work environment.
