Abstract

In this summary, it is evident that in contemporary times the discussion about abusive love relationships has gained contours of evidence, reinforcing the need for this issue to be addressed from different aspects. It is observed that in the legal and legal scope, public policies have emerged, represented in the form of laws of protection and support for women who are victims of abusive relationships permeated by the most diverse forms of violence. Through a theoretical discussion, it is intended to shed light on abusive relationships, establishing reflections that allow thinking beyond the social and legal reality, and to accomplish this purpose, we will resort to the concepts proposed by Psychoanalysis. The aim of this study is, above all, to address dominant views, legitimized by society and marked by a culture that places women as supporting actors in different experiences. This article aims to show the importance of the analytical process, as an important mechanism that allows reflection on the female position of subjection to abusive relationships, aiming at changes and repositioning by women, in order to redirect their desire from new possibilities, including breaking through devastating experiences and proposing new directions.
